JESSICA SIMPSON is turning her new home into a antiques
palace after getting turned on to classic furniture by
SHARON OSBOURNE. The singer/actress and her mother are
decorating the Los Angeles home and Simpson is determined to
fill it with antiques. She says, "I wanted antiques that
have meaning. I was speaking with Sharon Osbourne and she
was saying how great it was to sit around an antique table
and think about everybody that had sat there."

little sister Ashlee in London.
The singer/actress admits she donned a wig to escape the
paparazzi and spent hours every day, while her sister was
preparing for performances in West End musical Chicago,
perfecting her new hobby.
She says, "I took pictures of the sky and landscapes. I'm
very into photography at the moment."

The 'Dukes of Hazzard' beauty - once married to Nick Lachey
- is said to have been feeling so lonely after splitting
with her latest flame John Mayer, she has started visiting
online dating sites.
The beauty reportedly enjoyed the experience so much she is
now spending much of her free time flirting virtually.
A source told Britain's More magazine: "After she split up
with John she set up a MySpace page to meet new people. She
did it in a fake name but got really into it. She's totally
addicted. Whenever she's at home, she's on her laptop."
Jessica is said to be seduced by the freedom and anonymity
internet dating provides.
The source added: "Jessica loves the idea she can use the
internet to look for a man who's interested in her
personality. She pretends to be this shy Texan girl."

NICK LACHEY
performed a solo concert on Thursday night (13OCT06) in New
York City and took the opportunity to take a swipe at
ex-wife JESSICA SIMPSON. The WHAT'S LEFT OF ME star
performed at the Nokia theater and new girlfriend VANESSA
MINNILLO was seen enjoying the concert from the VIP area.
Lachey performed for the mostly-female crowd and sang a new
song that isn't on his album, which he described as a song
about falling in love again, and falling in love more
everyday. Later on in the evening, Lachey sang his new
single, reportedly inspired by Simpson called I CAN'T HATE
YOU ANYMORE. Right after finishing the song, Lachey quipped,
"Well, maybe a little..."

- Jessica Simpson Most 'Overexposed' Star |
A recent report
from E-Poll Market Research in Encino, Calif., found that
singer-actress Jessica Simpson is the latest most
"overexposed" celebrity.
The company, which ranked 2,600 celebrities based on 46
personality characteristics, revealed that the blond singer
has made an unprecedented jump in her "overexposed" score
over the last three years to top this year's list, said
Forbes magazine.
While the 26-year-old Simpson broke the celebrity average of
a three percent to seven percent rise during the peak of
their career with her 14 percent increase since Sept. 2003,
she also recorded an eight percent drop in her "talented"
score to only 28 percent overall.
Robert Thompson, who founded the Center for the Study of
Popular Television at Syracuse University, said such a drop
was likely due to the fact Simpson has recently seen her
public image fall to that of a tabloid star.
"To date, (MTV's) 'Newlyweds' is her magnum opus," Thompson
told Forbes.
"Jessica Simpson is probably not going to be one of these
stars that continues to be a star from generation to
generation."

was mortified when she screen-tested for a two parts in the
big screen re-make of the classic TV show Dallas and didn't
get either one of them.
Simpson claims singing comes naturally to her, but acting is
another story saying in the BBC inteview: "I never thought I
would see myself on the big screen. That, to me, was
something so unreachable." She says she auditioned for the
part but "couldn't really pull it off… They wanted me to
come back for Pam (Ewing). They saw me as something more
mature and as a woman”.
Media reports claimed the star was in line to land the role
of sexy Lucy Ewing, but the Dukes Of Hazzard star failed to
impress film-makers with her acting skills.

Jessica Simpson has rubbished reports she enjoyed a romance
with her co-star Dane Cook on the set of new movie Employee
Of The Month.
The actress, who divorced her ex-husband Nick Lachey in
June, had great chemistry with Cook, but the pair were never
more than good friends.
Simpson tells US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel, "We had great
chemistry, onscreen chemistry and offscreen chemistry. But
nothing sexually."

Jessica Simpson
and John Mayer are reportedly back together. The Dukes of
Hazzard star and the singer-songwriter were reunited at the
posh Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Tuesday just
weeks after breaking up.
Jessica - who arrived at the bar with her producer Romeo
Antonio - was having a drink when John turned up.
According to gossip website TMZ.com, after a brief
conversation - in which John reportedly asked Jessica
whether or not there "was anything going on" between her and
Romeo - John led her to the elevator and they disappeared
upstairs.
Jessica recently claimed she can't find love because she
scares guys away.
The 26-year-old star told US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres:
"I think I'm too hard to be in love with. It ends up on the
cover of every magazine. I scare people away. I'm a lot to
take on. I wish I was in love, I need to be in love."

star/actress JESSICA SIMPSON has discovered a way to combat
insomnia - she sleeps on the floor. The singer has found
herself lying awake for hours after climbing into bed and
decided to seek advice to help her get plenty of rest. She
explains, "It's more of a mental thing. I tell myself, 'I
cannot fall asleep, there's no way if I get into bed right
now I'm gonna fall asleep.' "I end up just laying on the
floor and falling asleep... That's advice that I've gotten -
don't ever get into bed until you know that it's time to go
to sleep, or else you'll lay there and that's when you start
tossing and turning." Newly-divorced Simpson admits much of
her insomnia problems relate to the fact she likes to plan
her dreams: "I start thinking about what I wanna dream
about... It's called lucid dreaming. "I'm a little sexually
frustrated right now, so if you tell yourself what you're
gonna dream about then you can have a really great dream."
