- Jessica Simpson And Willie Nelson Reunite For New
Movie |
Jessica Simpson
and country music legend Willie Nelson are to work together
again on Simpson's new film 'Blonde Ambition'.
Billboard reports that the film is a loose remake of the
1988 film 'Working Girl' and tells the story of a young
woman (Simpson) who gets caught up in corporate skulduggery
involving two ruthless executives.
Nelson will play Simpson's character's grandfather in the
film.
The duo previously worked together on 'The Dukes of Hazzard'.
Simpson's new film, 'Employee of the Month', opens in Irish
cinemas on 5 January.

- Jessica Simpson Abandoned Christmas Holiday Because
of Depression |
Jessica Simpson
and her sister Ashlee Simpson supposedly abandoned their
plans for a sunny Christmas in Hawaii in favor of a break in
Colorado instead, as Fametastic reports.
According to In Touch Weekly, they changed their plans to
have a more private celebration because Jessica is feeling
down at the moment.
A source told the magazine that Ashlee flew down to
Louisiana lately to see Jessica on the set on her new movie
“Blonde Ambition” because Jessica’s unhappy: “she didn’t
leave her trailer for two days.”
Jessica is allegedly still sad about the Kennedy Honors ‘9
to 5′ flub.
But according to a report in More magazine, she’s been
depressed since her divorce from Nick Lachey was finalized
earlier this year.
“[Jessica] started staying home more and more. Her problems
developed for a while and got worse after her divorce from
Nick”, a source told the magazine she suffered from panic
attacks and agoraphobia.
“She barely left the house unless she was working. It got so
bad she suffered panic attacks. It felt as if the world was
closing in on her. Her blood pressure rose, she got dizzy
and she actually felt as if she was suffocating”, also said
the same source.

Jessica Simpson
is helping to further reports she's romancing John Mayer by
planning to record a film duet with the blues singer and
songwriter, informs BBC news.
Jessica Simpson and John Mayer have repeatedly shot down
reports they're dating but were recently photographed dining
out together, and now the pop star wants to get John Mayer
in the studio.
She has reportedly asked John Mayer to record a duet with
her for the soundtrack of her new film, "Blonde Ambition,"
according to magazine Life & Style.

- Jessica Simpson Continues With Poor Performances |
Jessica Simpson
is being criticized by her new movie costars for forgetting
her lines on set, just days after she caused a sensation by
forgetting the lyrics to a song during a tribute to country
music legend Dolly Parton.
Simpson is filming a remake of the classic Melanie Griffith
movie Working Girl in Shreveport, Louisiana, and filmmakers
are frustrated by her performance.
The source on the set of Blonde Ambition tells People
magazine, "After the seventh take on one shot, the director
hid a microphone in her ear so a crew member could feed her
lines.
"Everyone was embarrassed for her, but she laughed it off,
saying, 'I'm sorry, everyone. I'm sorry.'"
Costar Luke Wilson was a bit more sympathetic to Simpson's
plight, reportedly patting her on the back and reassuring
her that things were okay.

- 'Nervous' Jessica Simpson Tearful After Dolly Folly |
Jessica Simpson
burst into tears last night after forgetting the words to a
Dolly Parton song she was performing during the Kennedy
Center Honors event.
Two years after sister Ashlee's lip-syncing debacle on TV
show Saturday Night Live hit the headlines, the Dukes Of
Hazzard star showed that live mishaps run in the family.
Performing a cover of Parton's Nine To Five hit with
American Idol star Carrie Underwood at Sunday's bash in
Washington Dc, Simpson stumbled over the song lyrics.
She relied heavily on cue cards to sing the song and missed
a few lines. She then abruptly ended her performance saying,
"Dolly, you make me so nervous I can't even sing the words
right."
Her efforts were met with little applause, prompting
embarrassed Simpson to dash off stage, reportedly in tears.
She appeared to be crying when she and others involved in
the tribute show returned to the stage.
As Wenn went to press it was not known if the performance
will be edited out of the TV broadcast, which will air later
this month.

- Romo Blasts Jessica Simpson Romance Rumours |
American
football player Tony Romo has slammed reports he's dating
singer and actress Jessica Simpson.
The rumours began when Romo confessed to having a crush on
Simpson, but the Dallas Cowboys quarterback insists he's
never been lucky enough to go on a date with the 26-year-old
star.
He says, "So I don't have to answer any more questions about
this, I'm not dating Jessica Simpson, nor have I gone on a
date with her."
Simpson's father Joe is supporting Romo, insisting, "Jess
has never met Tony. I am friends with him."
