Jessica Joins The Ranks Of The 'Singing Strippers'

Jessica Simpson has been slammed by a Christian group, which has branded her latest video "slutty". The religious organisation, known as The Resistance, wants the stunning singer to re-shoot a "clean" version of the promo for These Boots Were Made For Walking and publicly apologise for her saucy performance. The steamy video shows Jessica - appearing as her Dukes of Hazzard character, Daisy Duke - seductively washing a car in a skimpy pink bikini. She can also been seen writhing around on the laps of old men and kissing country singer Willie Nelson, who plays Uncle Jesse in the Dukes of Hazzard movie. The Resistances spokesman John Conner is quoted by New York website the Bosh as saying: "She should be ashamed of herself. It's disappointing to have Jessica, a pastor's daughter and Christian role model, join the ranks of the 'singing strippers' such as Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. "She has one of the most beautiful voices, and is a very beautiful girl, but it's sad to see her whore herself out like this. What's worse is that pastor Joe Simpson is Jessica's manager, as well as her father." Despite her "slutty" video, Jessica, who is married to singer-turned-actor Nick Lachey, famously remained a virgin until her wedding night.
