Mocks Jessica Simpson' "Buffalo Wings" Comment |
Pop star Jessica
Simpson has poked fun at her much-mocked comments
about buffalos in a new TV commercial for Pizza Hut.
The singer raised laughs and became the target of
continued jokes when she refused her husband Nick
Lachey's offers of buffalo wings because she didn't
eat buffalo meat.
When Simpson made the comments on her hit reality TV
show, "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica," she failed to
realize that the wings are named for New York's city
of Buffalo -- not the hairy mammal.
Jessica's younger sister Ashlee mockingly asks her
during the Pizza Hut ad, "That's a buffalo with
wings, right Jess?"
"I know buffalos don't have wings," Simpson replied,
before turning to see a herd of squawking buffalos
with wings.
