Signs YogaForce Sweatshirt For eBay Auction To
Benefit The Skin Cancer Foundation |
The Skin Cancer
Foundation announces a unique opportunity to bid on
a one-of-a-kind YogaForce sweatshirt signed by
singer Jessica Simpson to be auctioned by
AuctionDrop(TM) on eBay®. All the proceeds from the
auction will benefit The Skin Cancer Foundation. The
auction will commence on June 2 and run through June

Why Jessica Simpson, YogaForce and The Skin Cancer
Foundation?
In 2003, Anne E. Appleby, founder of YogaForce, a
hip and comfortable line of unisex yoga clothing and
accessories, was diagnosed with melanoma. She was
running on the beach in Santa Monica and was stopped
by a dermatologist who spotted a mole on her back.
He told her to see a doctor immediately. Appleby
discovered she had Clark Level 3 melanoma.
Fortunately, it was caught and treated in time. If
left unchecked, it would have killed her. Now
Appleby has become a crusader for skin cancer
awareness and, thanks to her celebrity connections,
was able to get Jessica to sign a YogaForce
sweatshirt to benefit the Foundation.
"I was very lucky," Appleby says. "Melanoma is the
most common cancer in women aged 25-29 and second
only to breast cancer in women 30-34. I want to use
the resources from my company to help The Skin
Cancer Foundation with their mission to detect,
treat and prevent skin cancer."
Appleby created YogaForce in 1995 and since then has
developed a legion of fans nationwide. In addition
to clothing, Appleby is about to introduce a
patent-pending YogaForce exercise mat, which will be
