Simpson denies
stories she snacked on a little Limp Bizkit
If you need a cure for those daisy dukes, there's
nothing like a little Limp Bizkit.
Rumours were swirling this week that Jessica
Simpson, who's set to star in the big-screen version
of The Dukes of Hazzard -- white trash TVs Citizen
Kane -- and Fred Durst had hooked up for a little
Las Vegas "Nookie."
In a story this week, the Las Vegas Review-Journal
claimed Simpson and the singer "were all over each
other" during an event at the Hard Rock Hotel.
It makes sense when you think about it -- I mean,
why stay with a man whose career-decomposition
stench is fast approaching New Kids on the Block
funk, when you can hook your wagon to a long-since
relevant nu metal clown whose last notable release
was an amateur porn tape?
But before you start taping over your Newlyweds
library with episodes of Joey -- wait for the
complete first-season DVD, which features commentary
by Tony Danza because Matt LeBlanc was busy filming
Ed II: The Chimp Gets Juiced -- Ms. Simpson has
flatly denied anything untoward took place between
her and Durst.
"Jessica and Fred Durst have mutual friends and were
both at the event," the website ananova.com quotes a
Simpson rep as saying.
"The rest is absolutely untrue."
We'll give her the benefit of the doubt and presume
she's telling the truth, only because "the rest"
reportedly contained references to Simpson as an
"actress" and to Durst as a "musician."
